  • High-quality optics

The optical elements are made of a highly transparent glass – these optics allow reducing image distortion to a minimum. Multiple layers of special coating on the lenses increase the percentage of transmitted light. Thanks to the high-quality optics, images are always sharp and contrast – you will see all the tiniest details of the studied sample.

The microscope is equipped with three objective lenses producing 64x, 160x, and 640x magnification. The 40xs objective lens has a special spring-loaded mechanism – even if a beginner accidently touches the sample with the objective, the spring-loaded lens will slightly retract, preventing any damage to the optics or sample.

    Universal illumination

The microscope is equipped with two illumination systems. Lower illumination is used for transparent samples - the light passes through the specimen, forming an image. This method can be applied for observing microorganisms in a water drop or the finest cuts of plants. Upper illuminator reflects light off of the sample, allowing you to observe opaque objects such as different types of paper, coin, and cloth. If you want to observe a translucent (semi-transparent) object, you should use both upper and lower illuminations simultaneously. Adjustable brightness allows you to choose optimal level of lighting for each particular sample.

    Reliability and comfort

The microscope has a reliable metal body and, therefore, can be used in schools and colleges for biology and chemistry lessons. The head is set at an angle of 45 degrees - it allows the most comfortable observing position. The monocular head can be rotated 360 degrees around its axis, which is really convenient for working in a group – you don’t need to move the microscope itself; just turn the microscope head.

Illumination works in AC and battery power modes, so you can use it outdoors or in a greenhouse.

Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.
