High-quality optics
The optics are made of high-quality optical glass. The glass is highly transparent and, thanks to its special anti-reflective coating, provides better light transmission. As a result, you will get contrast, sharp, and highly detailed images of observed objects.
The revolving nosepiece has three objectives giving you 64x, 160x, and 640x increase. The most powerful objective (40xs) is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism – it protects the optics when a user accidently touches the cover slip with the objective lens.
Combined illumination
The microscope is equipped with two illumination systems. To observe transparent samples (liquids and tissue cuts), use lower illumination. Upper illumination allows you to study a variety of opaque samples; for example, you can find even the smallest undetectable to the naked eye scratches on coins or examine banknotes. Semi-transparent samples can be observed with both illuminations at once. The illumination has adjustable brightness, so you can easily choose the optimal level of lighting for each particular specimen.
Durable and convenient design
The body is made of metal – the microscope is distinguished by its high reliability and will serve you for years. The monocular head is set at an angle of 45 degrees for an even more comfortable viewing position. The head rotates 360 degrees around its axis. It is very convenient for group work; you don’t need to move the instrument, just turn the head.
To power the microscope you can use an outlet or batteries.
Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.
