It's time for Jupiter!

The giant planet reaches opposition on November 3rd

In Astronomy, the term "Opposition" refers to the time at which a planet is directly opposite the Sun in the sky, as seen from the Earth's surface. At this time the planet is visible throughout the night and usually it coincides with it's perigee, the time when it's at its closest to the Earth, making it appear larger and brighter! Jupiter was at Perigee on November 1st and it will reach Opposition on November 3rd!

Look for it high in the sky in the constellation Aries. It's the brightest object in the sky, until Venus rises in the pre-dawn hours.
